I used to work with a woman who had been a professional body builder, and she would teach strengthening techniques to people with chronic pain.  She would say, &quot;Just do one.&quot;  And, people would say, &quot;One?! That won&#039;t make any difference!&quot;  And she would say, &quot;That&#039;s true, but you won&#039;t be sore.  So tomorrow you can do one more.  And then in a few days, you can do two.&quot;

Change does not happen overnight, but it definitely can happen if we just keep &quot;easing in.&quot;
