Finding time to keep in touch on-line is becoming a big piece of the time management puzzle for many of us.
If you’re a blogger, an internet entrepreneur, or someone who likes to keep in touch with family and friends using platforms like Facebook and Twitter, social networking is now something that is built into your daily schedule.
It takes time to build relationships and maintain a presence in those media. And finding time, as we all know, is not always easy.
For that reason, I’m excited to share with you two time-saving Twitter and Facebook tools that our more technological friends have developed! They are easy to use and, yes, they really do save time. I’ve found that they enable me to stay connected, while also freeing me up to do other things.
Ping.fm is, as they describe it, “a simple service that makes updating your social networks a snap.” You simply sign up at the Ping.fm site, and then set up your account to update whatever social networking platforms you use. Ping.fm supports more than 30 social networking sites, including twitter, facebook, Linkedin, Plurk, del.icio.us, friendfeed, myspace, friendster, and many more. Ping.fm is also set up so that you can post to it via your mobile phone, your mac or pc, or instant messaging and e-mail applications. It is a very flexible and convenient tool for staying connected.
TweetLater is the second tool that I want to share with you this morning. This fantastic and flexible tool enables you to do several things:
Both of these time-saving tools are free and are evolving as we speak. They are constantly adding options and functionalities.
I encourage you to look into both of these great products. Are there other tools you know of that you’d like to share with us? What do you think?
Drop me a line – I’d love to hear from you!
