It’s Friday!
How many of us arrive at Friday night feeling frazzled and breathless? Is Friday, for you, like a light at the end of a tunnel? The finish line at the end of a marathon? Is it not until Friday evening that you feel you can find time to stop and take a breath?
For the vast majority of us, I think this is generally the case. And if your schedule is different – say you work weekends – your “Friday” may be Sunday or Monday – but the pattern is much the same. We race through our fast-paced lives, with no relief until we skid into home plate on Friday night!
What if you could give yourself that “Friday Feeling” more often? What if you didn’t have to hang on and hold your breath through a whole week before coming up for air?
You can do it! You can create little islands of that “Friday Feeling” for yourself throughout your week. It requires discipline and focus, AND it’s very, very doable. What is required is simply slowing down. In my article titled Finding Time to Breathe – 3 Essential Skills For Slowing Down to Reclaim Your Time, I show you exactly how to do it!
Yes, you can!
Finding time to breathe and relax may feel like the ultimate luxury, but it is entirely within your control. When you develop these skills, you can put yourself back into your life.
Try creating some Friday’s for yourself next week … and in the meantime, enjoy this one!
