A new addition!In today’s Finding Time E-zine I share an article about “Finding Time for Valuing Your Values.”
Along with that, I share news about a brand new addition to my life … a Maltese puppy!
Alex was a big gift that I gave to myself for a big birthday (my 65th)!
Puppies haven’t changed …Now, I’ve welcomed puppies into my home since 1970. For more than 38 years, I’ve never been without a dog in my life (and usually from two to four, in fact). Yet the last time I had a puppy was more than ten years ago.
But I have …Having Alex, who is a happy, healthy four-month-old puppy, definitely reminds me of my changing energy level! I’m still energetic, but my reserves have lessened over the years – and living with a puppy brings that home on a whole new level!
In every change, an opportunity …Transitions, whether they be turning 65, or welcoming a new puppy … or BOTH … help make us aware of our changes. They make for great learning experiences, however sobering they may sometimes be.
I’ll be writing more about transitions as we move toward September and all that it brings.
