The cloud is becoming more and more a part of everyone’s workflow – and many different cloud storage venues are available for you to use.
Most of them offer free storage up to a certain point, and then have paid options available. If you’re interested in saving money and exploring the possibilities that the cloud offers, you can use multiple cloud services, making sure to utilize each one only to the limit of their free option.
What that means in practical terms, though, is that you’ll have material stored in lots of different places – and that’s a headache to keep organized – not to mention a big time drain!
So, to help keep your material organized up in the cloud, I suggest you consider some of the apps that are being developed for this purpose. About a month ago we shared one such app – the work of a company called Jolicloud. Called Jolidrive, it offers a flexible and attractive interface for your cloud accounts.
MultCloud is another such application. Note – it’s MultCloud – not MultiCloud (an entirely different tool).
It’s free and, overall, seems a bit simpler to master than Jolidrive (which offers more options, has a paid version, and is more complicated to navigate).
Here’s a quick video showing you how to use MultCloud:
The video offers a comprehensive overview of this cloud storage option. We found it to be very easy to use. In particular, the option of dragging and dropping files and folders to copy them from one drive to another was very accessible and intuitive.
If you have a lot of material stored in the Cloud, and are looking for a quick and simple dashboard for viewing and managing what you’ve got, then MultCloud looks like something worth checking out.
