Decluttering, Gratitude, Flexibility and Gmail — Time Finder Favorites

Decluttering Clean Desk

Decluttering is a top priority for lots of readers.

Decluttering was high on the list of readers’ priorities this past month. That’s just one of the things we discovered as we looked back at our top posts. Looking back provides a base, always, for stepping ahead.

This is true whether you’re analyzing the performance of your blog, setting priorities for a new month, or trying to take better care of yourself. Reviewing what worked — and what didn’t — gives you vital information and insights.

So, here’s what we’ve learned about readers’ interests over the past 4 weeks:

Decluttering and Gratitude — Powerful Skills

Right at the top of the list was our post titled Decluttering in Doable Chunks — Your 52-Week Challenge. If you haven’t read it yet, take a peek. There’s a free template included – and it’s never too late to start he challenge (and start decluttering).

Find Time for 3 Gratitudes Every Day was a close second. If you’ve not tapped into the power of gratitude in your life, I suggest you read this post. It’ll only take you two minutes, and it’s something that’s been profoundly life-changing for many.

Finding time to energize yourself and open your heart with gratitude is one of the most powerful, grounding, and expansive gifts that you can give yourself. To call something like the Attitude of Gratitude a “time management tool” doesn’t really do justice to the scope and depth of its effects.

Flexibility and a Gmail App

Third on your list was a post that looks at the role of discipline and flexibility in your planning and time management. Finding Time: Is This Discipline or Rigidity? Some Tips on How to Tell offers the following advice… and much more!

… planning requires both focus and flexibility. I emphasize flexibility because so often, when we develop plans, our attitude is that we need to stick to them no matter what… There’s a whole world of difference between disciplined follow-through and rigidity.

And last but not least, here’s a Gmail productivity tool that makes it easier to quickly scan your e-mail and find what you need. We share it in our post titled Gmail Sender Icons — Favicons for Quicker Skimming. Another quick read that offers a tool to amp up your productivity and find more time.
