Find Time for March's Time Finder Favorites

Finding time to look back at March’s Time Finder Favorites is something we want to be sure to do before another April day passes by!

And speaking of April days, it’s just the 5th and so far we’ve had two small, April snowstorms here in NH!  It brings to mind a passage from a Robert Frost poem that I’ve always loved.  The poem is “Two Tramps in Mud Time” and the passage is:

The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day
When the sun is out and the wind is still,
You’re one month on in the middle of May.
But if you so much as dare to speak,
A cloud comes over the sunlit arch,
A wind comes off a frozen peak,
And you’re two months back in the middle of March.

So, since we’ve been visiting the month of March weather-wise, let’s take a look at our most popular posts from that month, too!

The impact of the alterations that Google made in their search algorithms was on many people’s minds in March … and quite a few of you were inclined to Find Time to Learn About the Recent Google Algorithm Changes and Their Impact on You! Did you notice anything different about your traffic or your search results?

Second on the list (and a very close second, I might add) was Find Time to Vanquish Procrastination by Pulling the Plug on Pressure Tactics.  When you put undue pressure on yourself, you just make it harder to perform.  I love this analogy …

If someone asked you to walk along a narrow, 12-inch path in a garden, you’d start right away, and easily accomplish the feat. But what if that same person were angrily or urgently shouting at you to walk a 12-inch plank across a raging river? The width of your path is the same, but the heightened stakes in the latter case might well keep you frozen on the bank. (I know it would me!)

Find Time to Keep Up with Your Facebook Fan Page Using Hyper Alerts! offered a handy tool for keeping up with key on-line connections.

And you also cooked up some interesting concoctions by deciding to Find Time to Spice It Up Considerably With Spicynodes Software.

Finally, many of you revisited Time Boundaries with a quick refresher in the power of saying no (and how it enables your YES)!  The post is titled Find Time to Move Ahead by Knowing You Can Stop When You Need To! and one of the things it explores is the connection between weak time boundaries and procrastination.

Interestingly, the fear of not being able to proactively say no and establish meaningful time boundaries can also lead to the more passive “No” that is procrastination. Indeed, putting off an important project may reflect a fear that succeeding on time will create a whole new set of problems for you.

In March I was also very pleased to be interviewed by a reporter from our local newspaper, the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript!  The article is titled “In a Busy World, She’s Making Every Minute Count.” Enjoy!
