Finding Time to Make a Joyful Noise is a Cinch This Cyber Monday!

Finding Time to engage with folks, whether it’s on blogs in articles, or in the social network, is very important if you have a web-based business.  And, when you’re looking to connect, adding audio via tools like Audio Boo and Cinch Cast to your repertoire is a wonderful way to quickly and easily expand the possibilities!

Both of these applications offer you a very user-friendly means to post audio to your blog or your social network.  And it looks to me like both platforms are quite similar, the sole difference being that there’s a time limit on Audio Boo (5-minutes) and none in Cinch Cast.

I’m exploring each, and have found lots of helpful information about Cinch Cast on Denise Wakeman’s Build a Better Blog, as well as on her Cinch Cast Feed.  For example, Denise advises:

Use Your Existing Content

Look at your blog posts. If you have posts that are 200-300 words, that’s perfect for an audio tip. I did one with a post about 8 Business Blogging Do’s and Don’ts (cinchcast).

What about other sources of content? Review your teleseminars and webinars. I am starting a series of audio tips based on a presentation I do on how to dominate your niche by boosting your online visibility.

Transcripts are also a wonderful source of tips you can quickly record. And what about the articles you submit to article directories? Get the idea?

To take a look at Audio Boo, you can click on Mari Smith’s page and explore some of her audio posts.

Using either one you can record brief (or, in the case of Cinch Cast, maybe not-so-brief) podcasts via phone or your computer.  You can set up your account to post automatically to your Facebook profile and Twitter.  And both of these tools offer a really easy and accessible way to repurpose the content that you have already created.  What a win-win situation!

I haven’t made up my mind yet re. which platform I’ll use … and maybe I’ll end up using both!  But one thing is for sure – you can look for more audio from me here, and on Twitter and Facebook, in the coming months.  I’m very excited about the possibilities!

Do you use either of these tools?  If not, are you ready to give one or the other a try?  Drop me a line and tell me what you think … I’d love to hear!
