Free Apps – Which do You Use to Find Time?

Free Apps that help you streamline your time.

Free apps are often a great way to streamline your time and extend your reach on the web.

And the good news is that there are plenty of them out there to choose from. Quite often your go-to productivity  tools will have paid and free versions. So part of your challenge is to figure out what level of service you’ll need to be able to accomplish your on-line goals.

Free Apps – The Landscape is Always Changing

There are so many free apps out there — with new ones being developed and launched every day — that curated lists are worth checking every once in a while. They provide a space where you can see what tools are trending amongst users, and also offer opportunities to discover new ones that you may not have heard of.

So I’m pleased to share the link to just such a list that was published on lifehacker not that long ago.  They surveyed their readers about the free apps that they were most thankful for – and the responses are often very enlightening.

Perhaps not surprisingly, tools like Gmail, Dropbox, and Google Chrome are up near the top of the list. But also mixed in are some free apps that we weren’t so familiar with and will likely be exploring in the coming days.

Free Apps – There’s More

Free Apps – here’s another you can check out!

The lifehacker piece lists the top 50 apps gleaned from readers’ responses (with input from lifehacker staff as well). Not only do they list the apps, but they also include links to previous articles on lifehacker about each app (the light green hyperlinks in the images you see in this post).

They also include a link to the original survey. There you’ll discover lots of other suggestions that didn’t quite make it to the top 50. Audacity (excellent free audio editor) and Buffer (a social media sharing tool) are two that we noticed and like using here at The Time Finder.

At any rate – why not take a look at the list(s) and see if there’s anything that strikes your fancy. And I’d love to hear what your go-to free apps are, so please share them in the Comments. And here’s to your time success!
