Time surely marches on. We are probably never more aware of that than when a New Year begins. And so, as we look back on last month’s Time Finder Favorites, we also look ahead. I hope that 2013 holds many rich and deepening moments for you … and much time success!
Time Holds Everything. That was the title of our top-ranking post on The Time Finder in December. Sadly, that post about time was in response to the tragic shootings in Sandy Hook.
Time holds everything. Like air, it is a fundamental medium in which we live our lives. Everything that we experience exists in time.
That includes the joyous wonder of births and beginnings, and the horror and loss of tragedies like the shooting rampage at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on Friday.
Coming in as our readers’ second favorite post last month was an entry featuring some tools for managing your on-line time. Time Tracking Tools: Using RescueTime and Time Doctor to Track and Manage Your Time was very popular, closely followed by Time Tracking Tools: Back to the Basics where I make the following admission …
Yes, my trusty, old digital timer is what I keep coming back to for my time tracking needs. It’s accurate. It’s portable. It’s flexible.
What’s your “go-to” time tracking tool, as you start this new year?

Finally, Time Finder readers were drawn to a second post about responding to a crisis (Crisis Times: Respond Using These 3 Timely Tips) and to a post about using affirmations to help you relax and enjoy the holidays. This post, titled Relax! Enhance Your Holiday Moments Using These Timely Affirmations offers affirmations that are helpful anytime – not just during the holidays! Here’s a sample of a few of those affirmations. Why not try them today?
- I am important, and I allow myself to rearrange my schedule to make me a high priority. I make time for myself.
- I purposefully make time to step away from my busy life and simply breathe in calmness.
- Today I choose to create the time I need to seek relaxation. I will schedule this time for myself.
